چکیده
Abiotic stresses deteriorate plant growth resulting in devastating yield losses. Salt stress solely cause ionic toxicity and disturbed homeostasis, whereas combined salt drought has more pronounced effects on plants. This study aimed to screen 32 Turkish onion breeding lines commercial cultivars based their morpho-physiological biochemical responses after exposure drought, salt, + at the bulbification stage under greenhouse conditions. Physiological characteristics, such as gaseous exchange traits, chlorophyll index, leaf temperature, morphological traits including number of leaves, length, diameter were measured during treatment, response onions was quantified by measuring bulb diameter, weight harvest. Proline malondialdehyde accumulation estimated for effect genotypes. All genotypes responded differentially applied single stresses. Overall results revealed that K25, U6, U17 cultivar K58, (41.71–47.93 g) significantly (p ≤ 0.05) lower, therefore they grouped sensitive across all stresses; K41, U47, U49 K52, (96.75–106.31 higher among tested found be most stable upon stress. These resilient can used material future abiotic studies.

Morphological and molecular responses of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) lines to drought stress
Drought stress is a serious adverse factor limiting growth and productivity of sunflower. Evaluation of defense systems is important for producing resistant cultivars. In this study, some agro-morphological and molecular characteristics of six sunflower lines were evaluated under normal and irrigation at 40 and 60% of field capacity in randomized complete block design (RCBD). The results showed...
متن کاملImproving Effects of Salicylic Acid on Morphological, Physiological and Biochemical Responses of Salt-imposed Winter Jasmine
To investigate the positive effects of salicylic acid (SA) on morphological and biochemical traits of salinity stress-imposed winter jasmine, an experiment was conducted in a research greenhouse. The experiment was conducted using a factorial experiment based on completely randomized design with four levels of salinity stress (2, 4, 6, and 8 dS.m-1) as the first factor and different levels of S...

Afforestation of contaminated areas is considered as a possible strategy for reduction of contaminations. In the present study, the effects of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) were investigated on chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (Fv/Fm, Fo, and Fm), photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, b, and total chlorophyll), and proline in one-year-old seedlings of Celtis caucasica and Robinia pseudoacacia...

Lycium depressum L. is the only native tree-like life-form species inhabited in saline and alkaline regions of Turkmen Sahra located at Golestan province in Northern Iran. During past years, efforts have been made to increase vegetation cover of the area by cultivation of L. depressum L. to reduce water and wind erosions and dust storm challenges; however, the cultivation of t...
